Welcome to our school website! We hope you find these pages helpful whether you are a parent of a child already in school or perhaps making that all important decision about where to send your child when the time comes! I have been the Head Teacher here since September 2020, and what a time to begin, amidst a global pandemic. However, how glad I am that I did. The community here is fabulous! The children are amazing and I witness them enacting our 6 Rs each and every day; the staff care deeply for every individual in their charge and work hard to provide the very best for all children; and the parent body has been nothing but supportive during some incredibly tough times. Here at Meersbrook Bank we value each and every child for their special and unique characteristics. Whilst academic outcomes are important, we also believe that children need a wide range of experiences and opportunities to become independent, confident, articulate and well-rounded individuals. Your child may be a musician, an athlete, a scientist, an artist, a baker or a mathematician... with the right opportunities, they will realise their full potential. And we can't wait to see what they grow into! Mrs G. Harvey Head Teacher |
