Early Years Outcomes:
At the end of their Reception year, all of the children are assessed against the Early Learning Goals. If they achieve all 12 of the prime areas of learning they are said to have met a 'good level of development'. Year 1 Phonics Check:
In June each year, the Year 1 children undergo a screening test of 40 words (real and made-up). This year they had to be able to phonically decode at least 32 to have met the required standard. |

Year 2 SATS Tests:
All Year 2 children take formal tests in Reading and Maths. Writing is teacher assessed. |

Year 6 SATS Tests:
All Year 6 children take formal tests in Reading, Maths, SPAG (Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar). Writing is teacher assessed.
